Apparently there was a long discussion on this before, but somehow I missed it: The latest release of Google Chrome no longer shows the full url any more. It removes the protocol (http:// or https://) and also the "www."-prefix if it existed. So "https://www.bing.com" becomes just "bing.com". In my opinion this is plain dangerous.
